Accessible Eye Care, Right in Your Community

MO May2025 accessibilityWhen it comes to eye care, comfort and convenience matter just as much as clinical excellence. At McPeak Optometry, we’ve designed every part of the patient experience to be friendly, efficient, and accessible—no matter your age, ability, or location.

Whether you're a busy parent, a senior with mobility needs, or someone new to our community, here's how we make it easy to care for your vision.

Wheelchair-Accessible, Step-Free Entry

Both our Hiawatha and Falls City offices are fully wheelchair accessible. With step-free entrances and wide doorways, patients using mobility aids or strollers can enter with ease. Our exam rooms and optical areas are also designed with space in mind—so every patient feels welcome and comfortable.

Parking is Easy & Close

We know parking is one of the biggest concerns when choosing a healthcare provider. Here's what to expect at each location:

  • Hiawatha: Convenient front-street parking located near the town clock. No long walks or stairs—just park and walk right in.
  • Falls City: Dedicated side parking next to the building. Easy access for patients of all ages.

If you're bringing in small children or elderly family members, rest assured you’ll be able to get in and out with minimal hassle.

No Car? We’ve Got You Covered

Don’t have access to a vehicle? Both towns offer community transportation options, like local taxi or ride services. Need help figuring out how to get to your appointment? Just give us a call.

Designed for All Ages & Needs

We see patients ranging from six months old to seniors in their 90s, and we’re experienced in meeting diverse mobility and communication needs. Our staff is:

  • Friendly and patient with kids and nervous visitors
  • Happy to assist those with walkers, canes, or other mobility aids
  • Trained to offer calm, respectful care for individuals with sensory sensitivities or special needs

Easy Check-In & Paperwork

Our practice also helps patients save time and energy by offering electronic forms sent before your appointment. Prefer in-office paperwork? Just arrive a few minutes early and our front desk staff will assist you.

Helpful Tips for a Smooth Visit

  • Let us know if you need extra time or accommodations—we’re happy to schedule longer visits
  • Bring any mobility aids, medication lists, and insurance cards
  • Ask us about large-print forms if reading is a concern
